I was born in 1983 and moved to Cincinnati in 1987. I have lived here ever since. I have always been into the outdoors, I grew up playing in the creek and hiking in the woods. Aggressive skating and
street hockey were my sports of choice growing up which evolved to playing ice hockey in high school for the Moeller Crusaders.

My dad was and is still huge into golf and got me into golf at a very young age as well, up until 2003 I played as much golf as I could until one day, at work, I heard of peope playing disc golf. I quickly ignored
it and laughed at it because it wasn’t “real” golf. I was put up to the challenge to try it, and I haven’t stopped since! I quickly gave up golf and the fees of golf, to play the much more fun and diverse sport of
Disc Golf. I was better at it too! I loved that the mentallity of the the game is the same.

The first course I played I believe was William Harbin Park, we played this every weekend for the longest time and eventually moved to a play a real deal course, like Mt. Airy, much harder! I was also taken to Idlewild and Banklick (Lincoln Ridge) and many other local courses. Eventually I started playing random draw weekly doubles and started to see a little more of local competition.

I played for a while on and on and started getting serious about it around 2008-2009. There were a few years between then and 2014ish that I didn’t play at all, but got back into it a few years ago and have been playing a steady stream of tournaments every season since, including Bowling Green 2016 - Present and Ledgestone 2016, among many others, especially all The Nati events.

I am very please to be a part of such a great sport and be on such a great team as Team Nati. I am also very happy to be in the Tri-State area where such a strong concentration of courses exist! I look forward to my future as a disc golfer and can’t wait to see how far I can go in such a fun and challenging sport.
