I've been familiar with "frisbee golf" since about 2002. I used to tag along with my eldest brother and all his friends (when he'd let me) because I always wanted to do everything he did. I played a handful of times in high school, but back then it was merely a way to spend time outside rather than playing video games.

I'm currently in my second year of playing disc golf competitively. I picked the game back up, in late August of 2015. A friend of mine sparked up an interest for disc golf and asked me to take him out to play. We played everyday for probably 2 weeks straight, and coincidently ended up at Lincoln Ridge for doubles one evening. I was introduced to a few pretty cool people who immediately helped with advice. I was even gifted a couple used discs because I didn't really have the beginners discs I needed. I was also informed about our local "Cincy Disc Golfers" Facebook page and was absolutely floored at how extensive the disc golf community was in Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky area. And from that one Wednesday evening in late August 2015, I knew I had "the bug". And I don't think I'll ever look back!

I had many ups and downs in my game my first year, but I continue to grow and learn everyday. I've had good guys help out along the way too, a few current members of Team Nati: Justin Cahill, Ryan McMath, Travis Braig. (Thank you gentlemen!)

In the future, I strive to become a top-rated amateur and hopefully a competitive, pro-level player someday. I look forward to helping our sport grow by reaching out to new players, especially the kids, the are the future of the sport.

A special thanks goes out to Jason Kerl and Adam Jones for the awesome opportunity. I'm blessed to be apart of Team Nati and look forward to representing THE NATI DISC GOLF with the utmost pride and honor!
