My Life and Disc Golf, I started playing disc golf back in 2007 and never dreamed it would lead me to where I am today! I have made so many friends and have been to so many new places it’s quite amazing. From 2007 to about 2010 I played Rec and Intermediate divisions, only having a win in Intermediate. I never won any tournaments in Rec before my rating moved me up. Speaking of moving up... My game didn’t advance after that until David Cox of Team Discraft invested time in me! My game quickly came together and I was playing in the Advanced division shortly after. 2010-2011 I enjoyed traveling around to different states playing disc golf, BG Ams, Am Worlds and couldn’t have been happier! However I ended up taking 3 years off tournaments from 2011-2014 to pursue DJ and musical production endeavors (which were also amazing times) but left my game in shambles when I returned back to tournaments... Back in the game from 2014-2017 I played tournaments in Advanced and had a rough time sharpening my mind and muscle memory back to where it used to be. Got to travel to more new states, make more new friends and play huge tournaments though! Ledgestone, Mishawaka Meltdown (which I won somehow!) and USADGC to name a few! Thanks to my great sponsor “The Nati” disc golf shop, close friends in the game and my amazing girlfriend Jessi Monte (fellow Nati teammate) I am back on the grind stone. Sharpening my game and winning 4 Advanced tournaments in 2017 alone, placing top15 at BG Ams (14th) and shooting a couple 1000+ rated rounds! My game is back to where it should be and improving. 2018, moved up to Open division and hopefully will be able to add “Team Discraft” to my list of accomplishments in the near future! |
